Now, Part 3-1. "The 2 Rules and the 4 Patterns of Japanese Pitch Accent" is available for paid members.
All the Japanese pitch accents are categorized into the 4 patterns and the 4 patterns follow the 2 rules. So they are the basic knowledge when you learn about Japanese pitch accent.
I believe that as an adult learner, acquiring knowledge of pitch accent can make it easier to be able to hear or say it. So, this Part 3-1 is essential.

How is your summer?
Around August 15 is called "Obon" in Japan and most companies have summer break around this time.
Obon is a Buddhist event to welcome our ancestors' spirits, and it's time to visit their graves.
The video I made with a neighbor provides a glimpse of Japanese obon.
As for my summer, I visited my parents last Friday with my son, and my brother's family visited the day before yesterday.
Tomorrow, we will be going to my husband's parents in Fukui prefecture. We plan to visit Eiheiji Temple, Tojinbo Cliffs, and also spend time at the beach!
To avoid traffic congestion, we'll be leaving at 4 am tomorrow morning and will return on Monday.
